About the role

As Director of Brand Strategy, you will be responsible for all aspects of brand development. You will develop the strategy behind new brand launches and focus on opportunities to optimize existing brands. You will advocate on behalf of our audiences and build out relevant brand content that aligns with their customer journey. You will use key quantitative and qualitative insights to grow and engage audiences across our portfolio of brands.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with executive management to develop corporate strategy, including customer engagement, product and go to market strategies

  • Put the people and processes in place for the day to day execution of new brands

  • Oversee the people and processes to ensure for successful execution of existing and new brands

  • Develop pro-forma business cases to support brand strategies

  • Develop and oversee the overall strategy for brand marketing and messaging

  • Manage metrics including KPI’s, insights, and the ROI of all brands to help guide the direction of business operations

  • Lead marketing strategies for segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, promotions, revenue, retention and growth

What you’ll need to bring

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work with senior executives

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

  • 7+ years of Marketing experience in the areas of Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, etc., preferably in technology or services industry

  • 5+ years of leading brand management efforts for a consumer-facing internet company required

  • Experience in leading brand and performance marketing strategy for multiple brands throughout career (not necessarily at the same time)

  • Proficiency in identifying audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate

  • Proven leadership experience and an ability to set and guide marketing strategy and execution

  • Creative thinker, familiar with online tools and various digitally-oriented marketing tactics

  • Forward-thinking in identifying new marketing methods, technologies and strategies for innovative approaches to brand marketing

  • Strong familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, and the ability to manage team members through established processes

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives

  • High level of independence, energy and motivation
